Antonina Shevchenko
Antonina Shchenko is an Kyrgyzstani Muay Thay champion. She currently competes in the UFC Flyweight division. She is the older sister of her fellow UFC fighter and former UFC Flyweight champion Valentina Shevchenko. Antonina Shevchenko's career in combat sports started out with her debut as an Muay Thai fighter. Shevchenko debuted on the IFMA World Championship Tournament in 2003. Shevchenko took the title and then defeated Suzane Mller by unanimous vote. Antonina Shevchenko won an additional medal in the year 2007 and a bronze medal in 2008, and a gold medal in 2011 and won as the IFMA Amateur World MuayThai Champion in 2016. Antonia launched her professional career at the age of 23 in 2003. She has won several titles including the WKC K-1 Light Welterweight World Championships, the Lion Fight Lightweight World Championships and WMC and Phoenix FC World Championships. Antonina's last fight was in the Phoenix Fighting Championship against Isa Tidblad Keskikangas. The winner was a unanimous decision. Antonina Schevchenko started her professional MMA profession in the year 2002 after an impressive win against Anara Baanova in the KFK Cup of Kyrgystan. She took the win via a second round TKO after which she won 2 additional fights at WXF X-Impact World Championships to get a 3-0 record. Shevchenko was absent from MMA to concentrate on kickboxing. She came back with Anissa Haddaoui in Phoenix FC 3 in 2017. Shevchenko won against Anissa with a unanimous vote before she fought Valerie Domergue in Phoenix FC 4. In 2018, she left the contest and started participating in Dana White's Contender Series. Shevchenko took on Jaimelene Nievera on Dana White Tuesday Night Contender Series 11. Antonina's formidable strike abilities let her TKO Nievera via knees in the body. Antonina was offered a UFC deal following her win. Antonina was given a UFC contract following her victory. Shevchenko was defeated by Roxanne modafferi in a split decision after she won her debut fight. Antonina bounced off the loss and fought Lucie Prudilova's battle at UFC on ESPN Covingtonvs. Lawler by submitting a back naked choke submission. This was by far the most exciting fight of the night for the fight. Shevchenko had a win in her first three fights but then lost the fights to Katlyn Cahookagian, Andrea Lee and Ariane Lipski. Antonina lost to Casey O'Neill by second-round TKO at UFC Fight Night Santos Walker.
