Lauren and Markie
Lauren Ash-Morgan, an actor and a member of the SSC's board since 2011, is the Founding co-artistic director of the recently formed theater firm Speech of Fire. She was the Artistic Director of Seoul Shakespeare Company from 2014 until 2019. As the artistic director of SSC, she was SSC's composer, musician and text coach, as well as set/costume/music design. Though generally leading from within the group of actors, at the end of her time, she made her debut as director (and Lighting Designer) for SSC's King Lear. Markie Post......................Markie Post is a noted American actress known for her roles as the public defender Christine Sullivan in NBC's sitcom Night Court the bail bondswoman Terri Michaels in ABC's drama series The Fall Guy and Georgie Anne Lahti Hartman in CBS's sitcom Hearts Afire. Apart from her acting work, she's also involved in several game programs. She was raised with her twin sisters and brothers within Walnut Creek, Stanford and by Richard F. Post's poetess wife Marylee Post. Las Lomas High School is where she attended and participated in cheerleading. She studied briefly at Pomona College before graduating from Lewis & Clark College. The previous marriage she had was to Stephen Knox. Michael A. Ross is her husband from 1982. The couple has two daughters. Post is a wonderful actress, an ideal wife and mom and a role model for many Hollywood stars.
