Colson Kelly, who is also referred to by the name Machine Gun Kelly, has a unique style of rapping. Baker was born in Houston Texas, U.S. on 22nd April 1990 to parents who were of English Scottish German descent. His parents were missionaries and throughout his childhood, Baker traveled extensively with them. The father James Colson Baker struggled with depression and unemployment while the mother Sonia Alane left them when he was nine. Baker's father emigrated with Baker to Denver and the family lived at the uncle of his father. Baker suffered bullying from other children in his neighborhood because due to his poverty. His first exposure to rap was when he entered sixth class. Colson Baker, a.k.a as Machine Gun Kelly, was born in Texas on the 22nd of April 1990. In his music, he is known for blending hip-hop trends of the present along with classic rock. Baker has released four mixtapes from 2007 to 2010 before signing with Bad Boy Records. The Cleveland rapper, who delivers the lyrics with as much speed as bullets, saw an explosive rise in the latter part of 2011, when he switched from self-publishing mixtapes to working with respected labels. From there his career skyrocketed with each of his albums ranking within the top 10.
